About Me
Kenneth Rainey is an Emmy Award winning fabricator and technician who finished his MFA in Costume Technology at Ohio University. He has spent time interning with Hat Rabbit Studio and Jeff Fender Studio in New York City. Currently he has been working with The Jim Henson Company Creature Shop as well as LABLAB.
Before pursuing his MFA, Kenneth received a BFA in Theater, Design and Technology, Costume Emphasis from the University of Southern Mississippi. He then moved to New York City where he spent a year interning with the Pearl Theater and freelanced as a stitcher, working on productions such as the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular and Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour. He has worked summer seasons with Glimmerglass Opera, Berkshire Theater Festival, Shakespeare & Company, and Tantrum Theater.
